I setup an Juniper SRX Firewall and acted as a transparent mode firewall for IDP purposes. I place it between the Internet Router and Fortinet Fortigate Firewall. We are able to ping the Internet successfully ( 8.8.8.8 for example ), However we have difficulties accessing most of the website, particularly for HTTPS. The Fortigate currently has turned on the SSL Inspection which it actually scan HTTPS port as well when the traffic reach Fortigate. Before I placed the Juniper Firewall, I am able to access every website.
I have tried changing the tcp adjust mss to 1400 in SRX firewal. But the problem is still persist. Is it possible to have SSL inspection running concurrently with Juniper SRX IDP? Kindly advised. Thanks.
