I'm trying to connect a Juniper SRX 110 to the back of a Arris CM8200 HFC modem via the use of pppoe but it seems the PPPoE server is send back "AUTH-NAK msg request denied" after the Auth attempts. LCP seems to be completing. I've tried setting MTU sizes to 1460 which is the ping size that seems to work and even setting tcp-mss size to 1320 but with the same result.
I've even configured a standard router and bridged the SRX through it running PPPoE with the same result.
I'm running the WAN port through fe 0/0/7 and LAN via port fe 0/0/1
If anyone could help I'd really really appreciate it.
